Things to do, in the Loo: Journey Through Fire

30Jan09

Well, this time it’s a thing to do, and in Kitchener. But I like rhymes!

Kitchener’s own Grand Philharmonic Choir will be performing a concert, Journey Through Fire, tomorrow at the Centre in the Square. The concert will feature the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, as well as a local muezzin and rabbi. The music is centered on the theme of peace, and will be feverishly intense. The program includes The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, composed by Karl Jenkins and Threnody by Canadian composer Murray Schafer.

The show is tomorrow at 7:30. Tickets range from $10 (for students) to $60.
