This Weekend in Waterloo

Now that the Southern Ontario Summer weather graces us (whenever it’s not raining) it’s time to start filling out weekends with some outdoor activities.

Opera Kitchener is putting on a production Rossini’s Cinderella at the newly constructed Waterloo Town Square. The show is June 13 at 3pm, but bring a lawn chair to sit on. It’s in English, and it’s free.

The annual Waterloo Arts Festival is back in town (where else would it be?) for June 13 and 14. It includes performances by various musical, comedic and even circus groups as well as works by sculptors and painters. It’s a two day event in Waterloo Park, and it’s free.

Walk for ALS on June 13 in RIM Park. Raise money and awareness for ALS by joining in on the 5km walk. The event starts at 9am with a breakfast, and the day is filled with a barbecue, a 50/50 draw, a raffle, and live music!

Have a wonderful weekend in Waterloo!
