This Weekend in Waterloo

19Jun09

The dreadful rain pouring over Waterloo region is forecasted to turn into sunny skies by Saturday. Luckily there are a number of dance events ( with an international flare) to heat things up this weekend.

Enjoy a sizzling night of dance indoors at Noche Flamenca! The Soly Sombra Sutdent Dance Company is putting on a show at the Registry Theater, Saturday June 20th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $8 for children/students/seniors. Hopefully you’ll experience a taste of Spain.

If you’d rather be on the dance floor, check out KW Tango’s Tango, Salsa & Ballroom Milonga on Saturday June 20th at the Button Factory. The lesson begins at 8:15pm and the dance starts at 9:00pm. Cost is $10 for the dance only, and $15 for the lesson and dance.

The Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Festival is in Victoria Park this weekend. Admission is free, so head on over Saturday and Sunday to enjoy international foods, crafts and dancers from all over the world!.

Have a wonderful weekend in Waterloo!
