Parental discretion is advised.

So my childhood was spent in Toronto, and almost every weekend CityTV would play old movies and whenever the movie had a “Parental discretion is advised” warning, it was automatically classified it as a more interesting movie.

St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market will host World Vision’s One Life Experience AIDS exhibit. It’s “about the impact of HIV and AIDS [through] experiencing the life of one of four African children through captivating audio, authentic sets and powerful photography. The One Life Experience moves visitors beyond the AIDS statistics to gain an understanding of why the pandemic is the greatest humanitarian crisis of our time.” The best part? Parental discretion is advised. In all seriousness, I have sorta mixed feelings about World Vision as an organization and about this exhibit. But it does sound pretty intriguing. Also I find it interesting that World Vision is doing a “Social Media Release” for this event which I guess makes them tech-y and hip?
